Mark Lederer

Mark Lederer's work experience includes various roles in education. Mark started their career as a Middle School Teacher at Sewickley Academy from 1987 to 1990. Mark then worked as a Senior School Teacher at Roland Park Country School for a year. From 1991 to 1998, they were employed at The Calverton School, where they served as a Technology Trainer and Coordinator, as well as a Senior and Middle School Teacher. During this time, they also had additional responsibilities as a curriculum coordinator for the Social Studies Department. In 1998, they joined Chapin School as the Director of Technology, and later took on the roles of Director of Curriculum Development and Director of Operations. At Chapin School, their responsibilities included leadership, supervision, and management of the technology program, as well as implementing upgrades and conversions to the school's databases. Mark also moved the school to cloud-based email, document storage, and collaboration using G-Suite and Office 365. Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Anne Arundel Community College from 1993 to 1994.

Mark Lederer completed their undergraduate studies at Stanford University from 1980 to 1984, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Their specialization during this time included Modern European History, Medieval European History, and Language. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in History with a focus on European and Islamic History at San Diego State University from 1985 to 1987.
