Misty Janks

Misty Janks is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in organizational leadership and community development. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at the Chapman Foundation for Caring Communities since June 2016, Misty has advanced from facilitating transformational courses focused on emotional intelligence and team development. Prior roles include Executive Director at YWCA Great Lakes Bay Region, where significant improvements in board governance and financial performance were achieved, and Executive Director at Greater Midland North Family Center & Coleman Family Center, promoting community wellbeing. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Operations at Mid Michigan Community Action Agency, emphasizing strategic planning and capacity building. Misty holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Davenport University, a Master's in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Touro University Worldwide, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Human and Organizational Psychology with a concentration in Organizational Leadership.
