Jenny Gieras

Jenny Gieras is an experienced educator with a comprehensive background in teaching and instructional technology. Currently serving as a STEAM Educator at Chappaqua Central School District since September 2020, Gieras previously worked in the same district as an Elementary School Teacher from September 2008 to June 2020. Prior experience includes roles as an Elementary School Teacher in the NYC Department of Education and as an Associate Teacher at Bank Street School for Children. Gieras began a career in therapeutic recreation, holding the position of Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist at NYU Langone Health and serving as a Group Life Counselor at Harmony Heights School. Gieras holds an Educational Technology Leadership Certificate from The George Washington University, a Master’s in Childhood General Education from Bank Street College of Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Ithaca College.
