Bulelani Kuwane

Bulelani has a Masters degree in Management (Public and Development Management) from Wits, an Honours (Bachelor of Commerce) degree and a Bachelor of Commerce from Unisa and a Comprehensive Diploma in Nursing from Transkei College of Nursing. He is currently an Executive Fellow in the Office of the CEO at the Aurum Institute. He is also a member of Executive Committee at The Aurum Institute and was the Managing Director for Health Systems Division for 3 years. He is a Public Health Specialist with more 18 years of experience in managing HIV and AIDS and TB prevention, care and treatment programmes.

He has worked in the public, private and the not for profit sectors. Bulelani has a passion for increasing access to health care services and improving quality of health care services. He is a board member and chairperson of the boards of Hospice Palliative Care Association of South Africa and Yoga4Alex. He was previously a board member of Hospice Wits. Bulelani brings his strengths in programme and project management, leadership and governance, operational management, financial management, human resources management and stakeholder management. Bulelani serves on the Human Capital, Social and Ethics Committee.
