Abby Foote has extensive experience in governance and leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Steering Committee Member for Chapter Zero New Zealand and an Independent Director at KMD Brands Limited and Freightways, Abby has also held significant positions such as Board Chair at Christchurch City Holdings Ltd and Independent Director at Sanford Limited, where responsibilities included chairing the People, Health and Safety Committee. Past roles include Independent Director at Z Energy Limited, where Abby chaired both the Audit and Risk Committee and the Health, Safety, Security & Environment Committee, Director positions at TVNZ and the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, and Independent Director at Livestock Improvement Corporation. Abby holds an LLB (Hons)/BCA in Commercial Law and Accountancy from Victoria University of Wellington and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School.
