Kyrene Ward

Kyrene Ward has a strong background in human resources, with a focus on employee relations and FMLA functions.

Kyrene has experience in planning, directing, and coordinating HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, coaching leaders and employees, employee discipline, and unemployment.

Kyrene has also been responsible for coordinating and responding to legal claims regarding employee relations concerns and FMLA/ADA requests.

Kyrene has participated in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures and ensured compliance with legislation and regulatory requirements.

Kyrene has held various roles at Bronson Healthcare System, including System Director of Human Resources, System HR Manager for Employment and Employee Relations, and HR Manager for Bronson Battle Creek and Lifespan.

Kyrene also has experience as an Institutional Review Board Coordinator and Staff Assistant.

Currently, Kyrene Ward serves as the Vice President of People Operations at Chapters Health System.

Kyrene Ward obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Interdisciplinary Health Services from Western Michigan University in 2005. Kyrene then went on to earn a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2007. In 2022, they also obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
