Kipchirchir (Kip) Bitok, Ph.D. has had a progressive and diverse work experience. Kipchirchir (Kip) started their career as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Syracuse University, where they conducted organic synthesis experiments and confirmed the catalytic function of Grignard reagents. Kipchirchir (Kip) then worked as a Research Assistant at the Broad Institute before joining The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as a Graduate Student Researcher. At Johns Hopkins, they focused on their research in an academic setting. After completing their Ph.D., Kip joined PreScouter, Inc. as a Global Scholar, contributing to the organization's projects. Kipchirchir (Kip) then moved to The Rockefeller University, where they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher and also became a member of the Postdoctoral Association (PDA) Executive Board. Kip then transitioned to Chardan, LLC, where they started as an Equity Research Intern in biotech equity research before being promoted to Senior Research Associate in Biotech Equity Research. Kipchirchir (Kip) continued their growth at Chardan and eventually held the role of Vice President in Healthcare Investment Banking. Currently, Kip holds the position of Director in Healthcare Investment Banking at Chardan.

Kipchirchir (Kip) Bitok, Ph.D. pursued their education in various institutions and fields of study. Kipchirchir (Kip) started their academic journey at Syracuse University from 2000 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry. Continuing their education, Kipchirchir proceeded to The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 2005 to 2012, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology as well as Pharmacology and Molecular Sciences.

Expanding their research expertise, Kipchirchir pursued further training at The Rockefeller University from 2013 to 2017. During their time there, they engaged in Postdoctoral Research focusing on Metagenomics, Natural Products, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, and Drug Discovery.

Additionally, Kipchirchir obtained various certifications from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority). These certifications include the Securities Industry Essentials Examination (SIE), the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination (Series 63), the General Securities Representative designation (Series 7), and the Investment Banking Registered Representative Examination (Series 79TO).
