Bhoindra Prashad has work experience in various roles and companies. Bhoindra started as an Apprentice at Cummings Electrical Company Limited from October 2014 to June 2015. In September 2018, they worked as a Lab Demonstrator at The University of the West Indies until May 2019. From January 2019 to June 2021, they served as a Computer Aided Design Trainee at Engineered Blueprints Limited. Subsequently, they joined Information Technology Energy Management (ITEM) as an Energy Efficiency System Analyst from September 2019 to May 2020. Currently, they are working as a Project Coordinator at Charge Solar starting from January 2022.

Bhoindra Prashad has a diverse education history. In 2010, they completed their Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) in Sciences at Queen's College. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Guyana, which they completed in 2017. In 2014, they obtained an Advanced Diploma in Project Management from Nations University.

To further enhance their knowledge and skills, Bhoindra pursued various certifications. In 2017, they acquired the Autodesk AutoCAD User Certification and the Autodesk Revit User Certification - Architecture. In 2018, they obtained the Autodesk AutoCAD Certified Professional Certification and the Autodesk Revit Certified Professional Certification for both Architecture and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing). Additionally, they completed a training program in general industry called the 30 Hour Outreach Training Program.

More recently, Bhoindra pursued higher education and earned a Master of Science degree in Renewable Energy Technology from The University of the West Indies in 2022. Bhoindra also completed a Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Victoria in the same year. It should be noted that Bhoindra has reported additional certifications, namely the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and the Certified Energy Manager (CEM), but no specific information about the acquisition is available.
