Shekhar Kirani

Shekhar Kirani is a seasoned venture capitalist and partner at Accel since January 2011, concentrating on early-stage investments in India, particularly in SaaS. With significant experience as a venture partner at Freshworks since September 2011, Shekhar partnered with Girish during the early stages of FreshDesk. Additional investments include being a Series A investor at BrowserStack and Cogoport, and early-stage investor in FalconX, ChargeBee, Zenoti.com, ansr.com, and Carestack, contributing to innovative and impactful platforms within their respective industries. Shekhar holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, a ME from the Indian Institute of Science, and a BE from the University of Mysore.
