Douglas Baldasare is an entrepreneur, explorer and, like everyone else, sometimes his phone dies at inconvenient times. It was on one such occasion in 2011 that he came up with the idea for a mobile phone charging station and founded ChargeItSpot. Now, as CEO, he is responsible for assembling and leading a world-class team, establishing strategic partnerships and managing capital structure, while embodying the positively tenacious attitude that has come to define the company.
Douglas holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BBA from Emory University. He is a regular guest lecturer at The Wharton school and is a contributor to The Huffington Post, AdAge, and Luxury Daily. Douglas speaks Mandarin and French. In his free time, he enjoys travelling internationally, skiing with his family in Colorado and career coaching.
