Robert McMillan

Robert McMillan has over 20 years of experience in the software development field. Robert is currently working as a Senior Software Developer at ChargeLab since February 2023. Previously, from January 2007 to February 2023, Robert worked at SELKIRK SYSTEMS INC. as a Senior Software Developer, where they developed an emergency wildfire management system and migrated functionality to microservices deployed on Kubernetes. Before that, from May 2003 to August 2005, they worked as a Systems Officer at the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations, where they fixed hardware and software issues, facilitated software testing, and wrote user manuals. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Technical Support at Allegiance Telecom from June 2001 to November 2001.

Robert McMillan completed their education at Thompson Rivers University. In 2002, they pursued a Computer Systems: Operation and Management Diploma, specializing in Computer Programming. Robert successfully completed this program in 2004. Motivated by their passion for computer science, Robert decided to further expand their knowledge and skills by pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Applied Computer Science from Thompson Rivers University. Robert began this program in 2005 and completed it in 2006.
