Gregor Cattanach has a long and varied work history. Gregor began their career in 1987 as an In House Trainee Manager at Stakis Hotels in Aviemore, Scotland. Gregor then went on to work in the travel industry in 1989, followed by a position in the restaurant management team at Café Rouge Restaurant Group in 1995. In 2000, they became a National Whisky Ambassador for USConcepts/Diageo. In 2007, they took on the role of Global Scotch Brand Ambassador for Diageo, where they were responsible for representing the Classic Malts, Johnnie Walker, J&B, Buchanan's, Dimple, and Old Parr. Gregor was also a course tutor for the In-market Scotch Brand Ambassadors, the Malt Advocate course, the Distillery Internships, and the Whisky Academy. In 2011, they became the Director of Whisky Education for MKTG, where they were responsible for developing education programs, answering client briefs, and managing communication from Global teams. Finally, in 2016, they joined Enthuse Marketing Group, LLC as Director of Program Talent and Training, Talent Development Lead, and Director of Education. In this role, they were responsible for creating and managing the Online Spirits Academy course, developing and managing the Category Education video series, developing and managing the Online Education Hub, and developing and managing coaching programs.
Gregor Cattanach attended Speyside High School. Gregor also obtained a General Certificate in Distilling from the Institute of Brewing & Distilling in July 2009.
