Michael Ashley

Following retirement from KPMG in 2013, Mike has held a number of non-executive roles spanning the private, public and third sectors. His current roles include chairing the Audit Committee of Barclays PLC, chairing the Audit and Risk Committee at the Cabinet Office and a Trustee and Treasurer at The Scout Association.

In addition he is a member of the UK Endorsement Board and was previously a member of the Charity Commission Board, Chair of the Government Internal Audit Agency, a member of the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants and a governor at a local preparatory school. Whilst at KPMG Mike was for many years an audit partner specialising in the audits of major financial institutions.
