Simon Barton possesses extensive experience in systems administration and technical support, spanning over three decades in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Lead Systems Administrator at Charities Aid Foundation since May 2010, Simon is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of computing systems and networks. Prior to this, Simon held several positions at News International Newspapers, including Systems Coordinator and Server Technician, where responsibilities included monitoring systems and providing first-line support in a 24-hour publishing environment. Earlier experience includes significant roles at GEC Avionics, focusing on test engineering and planning, along with a foundational technical apprenticeship.
