Thomas Ralph

Chief Risk Officer at Charity Bank

Thomas Ralph has worked in the financial services industry since 2003. Thomas began their career as an Engineer at Data Tote (UK) before becoming a Tutor at University College Cork in the same year. In 2006, they joined Bank of Scotland (Ireland) as a Risk Manager, where they were responsible for Asset/Liability management and producing monthly Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) reports. In 2010, they moved to Lloyds Banking Group as an ALM Manager, operating a BancWare model and attending ALCOs. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at EY as a Manager in the Financial Services Risk practice based out of the London Bridge office. Here, they worked primarily with treasury-related projects, but also dealt with liquidity, ALM, risk management, system selection and compliance. In 2020, they became the Chief Risk Officer at Charity Bank.

Thomas Ralph graduated from University College Cork in 2006 with a BSc in Financial Mathematics and Actuarial Sciences. Prior to that, they attended Christian Brothers College from 1996 to 2002.
