Elizabeth J Smith FCIPD MBA FRSA has extensive experience in human resources leadership across various sectors, currently serving as the Head of Human Resources at the Charity for Civil Servants since October 2023. Previous roles include Head of Human Resources at the Royal Academy of Dance, St Paul's Cathedral, and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Additional contributions include serving as a Trustee for Environmental Protection UK and Chair of Hyde Farm Climate Action Network. Elizabeth's earlier career includes positions as Human Resources Manager at Cafedirect plc and Human Resources Director at Neal's Yard Remedies Limited, alongside experience as an HR Consultant and Teacher through the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program. Elizabeth holds multiple degrees, including a BSc (Honours) in Design and Innovation from The Open University, a BA Hons in Geography from Durham University, an MBA from Kingston University, and an MSc in HR from London South Bank University.
