Neil Woollard

Head Of External Affairs at Charity for Civil Servants

Neil Woollard has extensive experience in strategic communications and public affairs, currently serving in a role focused on these areas at The Charity for Civil Servants since May 2019. Prior to this position, Neil held several titles at Tidal Lagoon Power from October 2014 to April 2019, including Head of Public Affairs and Head of Local Engagement. Neil's career also includes a significant tenure at Senedd Research within the Welsh Parliament as Communications, Research, and Policy Manager from October 2006 to September 2014. Additionally, Neil was the founder and musician of the Rag Foundation, a prominent Welsh folk band that contributed to the promotion of English-language Welsh folk music globally from March 1997 to March 2004. Academic credentials include a BA (Hons) in Political Communication from Swansea University and further studies at Cardiff University from 2015 to 2016.
