Mariya Yurukova

Mariya Yurukova, MBA, CFRE, is an accomplished leader in the nonprofit sector, currently serving as President & CEO of Charity Search Group since July 2020, where responsibilities include assisting nonprofit organizations in attracting top professionals. As Founder & CEO of Leapfrog Fundraising since July 2019, Mariya provides strategic advice to enhance fundraising results and coaches fundraisers on managing major gift portfolios. Prior roles include Talent Manager at Gerard Search and Manager of Development at McMaster University, where fundraising efforts were directed toward enhancing engineering education. With extensive experience at York University and Brock University in development and annual giving roles, Mariya has a strong background in building philanthropic relationships and executing fundraising campaigns. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Marketing from Goodman School of Business, a Certified Fundraising Executive credential, and a BA (Hons) in Psychology & German from Brock University.
