Amanda Cernovich

Amanda Cernovich is a seasoned program manager at charity: water, overseeing a $14M portfolio of seven grant partners since November 2019. With prior experience as a program senior associate and program associate within the organization, Amanda has honed skills in project management, grant oversight, and partnership development. Previously, Amanda served as the director of special initiatives at the Texas Department of State Health Services, managing quality improvement projects and coordinating public health workforce training. Early career experience includes a community development internship at Well Aware, Inc., where Amanda created training manuals and formalized evaluation procedures. Amanda holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Health from Texas A&M University.
