Alex Veross

Design Thinking Teacher & Outdoor Education Lead at Charles Armstrong School

Alex Veross has a diverse work experience. Currently, they work as a Makerspace Teacher & Technology Integration Specialist at Charles Armstrong School since March 2023. Prior to this, Alex worked at Atwell, LLC from October 2018 to November 2022. They held various roles at Atwell, including GIS Coordinator, GIS Analyst, GIS Technician, and CAD Technician. In these positions, Alex managed teams, supported renewable energy projects, designed and implemented a ticketing system, created mapping products, and improved data interoperability. Before Atwell, Alex served as a Store Manager & Bike Fit Program Developer at Grand Rapids Bicycle Company from January 2017 to July 2018, and as a Bike Fit Engineer and Technology Manager at Moment Bicycles from May 2014 to June 2016. They also had several roles at Point Loma Nazarene University, including Resident Assistant, Guide Training Coordinator, and Great Escapes Trip Coordinator.

Alex Veross completed a Middle Level Teaching Credential (Multiple and Single Subject Authorization) in Junior High/Intermediate/Middle School Education and Teaching at California State University San Marcos from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise Science with a field of study in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Point Loma Nazarene University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In addition, Alex Veross obtained a Remote Pilot - Part 107 FAA - sUAS certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in March 2021.
