Sarah Kirby

Sarah Kirby is a dedicated educator currently serving as a Middle School Science Teacher at Charles County Public Schools since August 2021, where responsibilities include teaching various grade levels in science and health education while supporting students with behavioral needs. Prior experience includes roles as a High School Science Summer School Teacher and dedicated substitute teacher at St. Mary's County Public Schools, emphasizing student engagement and development. Sarah has a strong academic foundation with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Science from the University of Maryland and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Leadership in Teaching at Notre Dame of Maryland University. Additional contributions include serving as a Scholars Ambassador and founding The Letter Project at the University of Maryland, showcasing a commitment to student support and community involvement.
