The Charles County Sheriff's Office is the primary law enforcement agency in Charles County. As a full-service agency, we provide all services associated with police departments and sheriffs' offices. We also operate the Charles County Detention Center. Our Headquarters is located at 6915 Crain Highway in La Plata and we operate District Stations in La Plata, Indian Head and Waldorf.
