Senior Director Of Exhibitions And Collections at Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History

Jennifer Evans is an experienced professional in the museum and media sectors, currently serving as the Senior Director of Exhibitions and Collections at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History since February 2010. In this role, Jennifer conducts research, writes exhibition text, and manages the installation and de-installation of exhibitions. Previous positions at the museum include Director of Exhibitions and Exhibitions Manager, as well as Assistant Curator and Special Projects Coordinator, where contributions included researching and supporting exhibition development and grant writing. Prior experience includes billing at Bienenstock Court Reporting & Video, supervision at General Motors, and roles in video technology and residence advising while pursuing degrees in Film/Cinema/Video Studies and Media Studies from the University of Michigan and Wayne State University, respectively.
