Dave Derby

Dave Derby has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Dave is currently working as the Chief Executive Officer at Charles Owen, a leading British manufacturer of riding helmets and body protectors. Dave founded their own consulting company, Derby Consultants Ltd, in 2019, where they focus on business transformation and innovation. Dave also serves as a Non-Executive Board Advisor at This is Crowd, a global creative and performance media agency. Prior to this, Dave worked as the Sales Director at AURES UK, an IT hardware solutions provider. Dave has also held various roles at Evoke Creative Ltd, JD Sports Fashion plc, and RD Scott Ltd. Dave's expertise lies in strategic thinking, process alignment, managing change, and driving innovation.

Dave Derby attended De La Salle Grammar School from 1982 to 1985, where they pursued A Levels in Maths, Physics, Economics, and General Studies. Following that, from 1989 to 1992, they studied at Liverpool John Moores University and obtained a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science.
