Trent Swartz has had a diverse range of work experiences in the construction industry. Trent began their career as an intern at Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. in 2000. Afterward, they worked as a Project Superintendent and LEED AP BD+C at Charles Perry Partners, Inc. from 2003 to 2012. In this role, they coordinated and managed various commercial construction projects, ensuring their timely completion and meeting all contractual requirements.
Following their time at Charles Perry Partners, Inc., Trent joined Stevens Construction, Inc. in 2012 as a Project Manager. In this position, they worked closely with the design team during pre-construction phases, providing analysis, budgeting, and useful information to help the team stay within budget. Trent also managed contract changes, supervised the construction team, and coordinated owner/contractor meetings.
In 2014, Trent became the President of Vantage Construction Services, LLC. Trent held this role until July 2020, overseeing the overall operations of the company.
Finally, Trent returned to Charles Perry Partners, Inc. in 2019 as the Vice President and Regional Manager. In 2020, they also took on the role of Project Director, demonstrating their continued growth and leadership in the industry.
Trent Swartz attended the University of Florida from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction Management. Trent later pursued additional certifications, including a Certified General Contractor certification from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation in July 2011, and a LEED AP BD+C certification from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) in June 2009. It is unclear if they pursued a second Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction Management from the University of Florida, as the start and end years are not provided.
