Hyowook Chiang

Hyowook Chiang is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as Vice President at Charles River Associates since March 2022, Hyowook previously held multiple leadership roles at Welch Consulting from September 2005 to March 2022, including Senior Managing Director, Managing Director, and Senior Economist, specializing in issues related to wage and hour laws and disparate impact in employment. Prior experience includes serving as an Economist with the US Census Bureau from September 2002 to August 2005, contributing to the Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics Team, and working as an Analyst at The Bank of Korea from January 1992 to July 1999, focusing on international relations and money market research. Hyowook holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Maryland and a BA in Economics from Seoul National University.
