Amanda Evans

Amanda Evans is a skilled professional in animal behavior and research with extensive experience in behavioral management and laboratory coordination. Currently serving as a Behavioral Research Specialist II at Charles River Laboratories since October 2021, Amanda previously held positions as an Animal Behaviorist at BIOQUAL, Inc., and Sr. Lab Coordinator at Johns Hopkins University’s Mind/Brain Institute in the Department of Neuroscience. Amanda’s background includes work as a Behavioral Management Specialist and Veterinary Technician at Charles River Laboratories, an Animal Biologist at Kelly Services, and a Lab Animal Technician III at SoBran-Inc. Amanda began a veterinary career at the Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center. Academically, Amanda holds a Master’s Degree in Aquaculture and a BSc Hons in Marine Biology from Bangor University, along with a Laboratory Animal Behavior Certificate from the Animal Behavior Institute.
