Hany Ayad

Hany Ayad possesses extensive experience in technology leadership within the financial services sector, currently serving as the Head of Trading and Market/Reference Data Technology at Charles Schwab since October 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing a team of over 500 and managing the transformation of trading and market data platforms. Prior to this role, Hany held various positions at OppenheimerFunds from 2001 to 2017, culminating as Vice President, Head of Investments & Risk Technology, and previously served as Assistant Vice President focusing on trading and integration services. Hany also led development efforts at The Macgregor Group and began a career in technology as a Senior Developer Manager at Merrin Financial Inc. Hany holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Alexandria University, obtained from 1985 to 1990.
