Patrick Cassidy

Patrick Cassidy is a Managing Director and the Head of Trading, Capital Markets, and Credit and Proxy Research for Schwab Asset Management. Mr. Cassidy oversees all trading and capital markets efforts across the firm. He also leads the Taxable Research, Municipal Research, and Investment Stewardship teams supporting Schwab Funds®, Schwab ETFs, and Schwab Asset Management’s separately managed account strategies.

Mr. Cassidy has more than 25 years of experience in the fixed income credit markets and research. Prior to joining Schwab in 2012, he was an investment leader at Nationwide Mutual Insurance, responsible for the investment grade, high yield, structured product, and municipal teams. Before Nationwide, Mr. Cassidy was head of investment grade and municipal research at T. Rowe Price Group.

Mr. Cassidy earned a Master of Business Administration in finance from New York University, Leonard N. Stern School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in finance from Pennsylvania State University. He is a CFA® charterholder.
