Spencer Ryals

Spencer Ryals is a Vice President in the Portfolio Resources Group at Charlesbank Capital Partners, a position held since June 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Associate and Associate at McKinsey & Company from August 2016 to April 2020, with an earlier position as a Senior Business Analyst and Business Analyst at McKinsey from May 2015 to August 2015. Spencer also served as VP of Entrepreneurship at Duke University, collaborating with peers to develop a 'How to Launch a Venture' program and mentor aspiring entrepreneurs. Additional experience features co-founding and presiding over SmartMoves Storage, a venture focused on modernizing personal storage solutions, and participating in various roles within Duke University, including Video Technician for Duke Football and Project Leader for Duke Community Consulting. Spencer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Duke University, obtained in 2016.
