McKenzie Moran

McKenzie Moran is an experienced educator with a focus on exceptional children and special education. Currently serving as a Teacher of Exceptional Children at Charleston Charter School for Math & Science since August 2022, McKenzie has a rich background that includes roles as Special Education Department Head and Special Education Teacher at the Office of Human Resources for Colleton County School District from August 2019 to November 2022. Additional experience includes leading preschool education at Valley Interfaith Child Care Center, supporting occupational therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder at ChildVision National Education Centre, and providing behavioral therapy through applied behavior analysis at Achieve Beyond and ASSERT. McKenzie holds a Master's degree in Special Education from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Human Development from Virginia Tech.
