Brandi J. Blake

Brandi J. Blake, M.Ed., CDE®, currently serves as the Executive Director of Intercultural Development at Charleston County School District since July 2021. Previously, Brandi held various roles at George Mason University from July 2016 to June 2021, including Faculty Fellow for Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation Centers, and Associate Director of Student Engagement for Racial Justice at the Center for Culture, Equity & Empowerment, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing DEI and anti-racist initiatives. Earlier experience includes positions at Coker College as Assistant Director of the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Multicultural Education and at the University of West Georgia in diverse roles related to diversity education. Brandi earned a Master of Education in Professional Counseling and College Student Affairs from the University of West Georgia and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from South Carolina State University.
