Francis Christopher Mazyck

Francis Christopher Mazyck, M.Ed, MSA, currently serves as the Associate Athletic Director for Charleston County School District since June 2021, where responsibilities include ensuring timely completion of external inspections and overseeing the safety and quality of athletic facilities. Mazyck has a background in educational and athletic leadership, having worked as a Head Wrestling Coach and Special Education Assistant at Horry County Schools from June 2018 to June 2021, and as the Head Track Coach at Calhoun County Public Schools from 2015 to 2018. Previous roles include Security Contracts Specialist at MPC Inc. and various positions within the Georgia and South Carolina Departments of Juvenile Justice. Mazyck holds multiple advanced degrees from Canisius University in Sport Administration and Physical Education & Athletics, as well as a Bachelor's degree from Penn State University in Administration of Justice.
