Kevin Covington

Kevin Covington, Ed.S., serves as an Assistant Principal at Charleston County School District since July 2025, having previously held the same role at Berkeley County School District from July 2020 to July 2025, where significant improvements in math readiness among second graders were achieved. Prior experience includes positions at Florence 1 Schools as a Curriculum/Technology Coach and Title 1 Coordinator, enhancing instructional practices and teacher support, and at Scotland County Schools as an AIG Facilitator/Technology Facilitator/STEM Coordinator, promoting equity in STEM education and integrating technology in classrooms. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in P-20 Education Self-Design from Walden University, an Education Specialist degree in School Superintendency from Wingate University, and multiple Master's degrees in Educational Administration and Secondary Education from the University of South Carolina, along with a Bachelor of Arts in History.
