Alexis McDaniel Barnes has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on operations and management. Alexis began their career as a Banquet Coordinator at the Hyatt Regency, where they assisted with daily operations and managed staffing and payroll. Alexis then moved on to roles as Banquet Manager/General Manager at Finnegan's Hall, where they streamlined operations and reduced costs, and Banquet Manager at the Hilton President Kansas City, where they were responsible for profit and loss and increased overall satisfaction scores. Alexis also worked as a Food and Beverage Director at the YWCA of KCK, managing revenue sources, cost controls, purchasing, and daily operations. Alexis also served as an Administrative Pricing Analyst at Aerotek/Millercoors, analyzing pricing for national and regional accounts and proposing advertising strategies. Alexis worked as a General Manager at Fo Thai Restaurants, overseeing upscale dining operations, and as a Hospitality Consultant, revamping a sports bar's menu and operations for increased revenue and cost savings.
