With more than 20 years of marketing and advertising experience, Michael Cady comes to Charlestowne Hotels with a diverse background of agency, corporate hospitality and on-site property environments. Cady joined Charlestowne Hotels in 2016 and has played an integral role in the growth of the company, which has now doubled in size over the last two years. A testament to his efforts, Cady was selected as one of HSMAI’s Top 25 Extraordinary Minds in Sales, Marketing and Revenue Optimization.

Before joining Charlestowne Hotels as vice president of marketing, Cady was the director of sales and marketing for Salamander Resort & Spa. Previous industry roles also include time as account director at the internationally acclaimed advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi, corporate marketing director for Joie de Vivre and regional marketing director for Belmond, overseeing their U.S., Mexico and Caribbean properties. At Charlestowne, Cady orchestrates property marketing strategy and leads an in-house marketing team that executes multi-layered campaigns and initiatives across a portfolio of assets through the integration of sales, marketing and creative services. Brand identity development, hotel repositioning, digital media, e-commerce, systems implementation, CRM, email and drip marketing and multimedia asset development are all at the center of his team’s focus. He is also responsible for the sourcing, negotiation and development of Charlestowne Hotels’s vendor network for services such as public relations, CRM, branding, social media, printing and fulfillment and website development.
