Kera Passante is the Director of Experiential Programming at Charlie Health. Kera has a wide range of experience in the outdoor industry, from through-hiking the Appalachian Trail to cycling across the United States.
Kera began their career as a psychotherapist, working with clients to develop individualized treatment plans. Kera then transitioned to the outdoor industry, first working with the Appalachian Trail Conservancy. In this role, they hiked the entire Appalachian Trail, from Springer Mountain in Georgia to Mount Katahdin in Maine.
After their thru-hike, Kera took on the role of Bike Across America with the Adventure Cycling Association. In this role, they cycled 5,400 miles across the United States, from Bar Harbor, Maine to San Diego, California.
Kera Passante's educational career includes earning a Post-Master's Certificate in Professional Counselor Licensure Preparation (LPC) from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science (MS) in Counseling - Higher Education & Student Affairs from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology and Philosophy from Temple University. Kera also has an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Liberal Arts from Community College of Philadelphia. In addition to their formal education, Kera has also earned certification from the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute (SIYLI) in Effective Teaming, LinkedIn in Establishing Credibility as a Speaker, Radical Candor (Blinkist Summary), The Neuroscience of Learning, Mental Health Academy in Mindfulness in Therapeutic Practice, and Person-centered Therapy.
