Andrei Vleju

Andrei Vleju has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Andrei is currently working as a Senior Backend Developer at Charlie Tango since May 2021. Prior to that, Andrei worked as a .NET & Umbraco Developer at Self Employed from April 2020 to May 2021.

Before venturing into self-employment, Andrei held various positions at Addition A/S from December 2005 to March 2020. Andrei started as a Developer and eventually became a Senior Consultant and Developer. During their time at Addition A/S, Andrei had responsibilities such as team leadership, technical project management, and providing technical support for software, particularly Sitecore versions 4.3 and 5.3.

From December 2005 to August 2008, Andrei also worked at Upaya as a Team Leader/Developer. Here, they worked on web development projects using Sitecore 4.3 and 5.3. Similar to their role at Addition A/S, Andrei also took on team leadership, technical project management, and technical support responsibilities.

Andrei's earliest known work experience is as a Developer at Depart SRL, where they worked from February 2002 to December 2005.

Andrei Vleju obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in/and Economics and Cybernetics from Universitatea "Babeș-Bolyai" din Cluj-Napoca, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their degree, Andrei has obtained several certifications including Sitecore 7 from Sitecore in February 2014, Umbraco 4.6 from Umbraco in February 2011, Sitecore 5.3 from Sitecore in May 2009, and MCP certification exam 70-315 (Developing applications using C# and VS.NET) from Microsoft in March 2004.
