Eric Simpson

Eric Simpson has extensive experience in music education and performance, serving as a Middle School and Upper School Music Educator at Charlotte Christian School since November 2017. Eric's performance career as a Baritone Vocalist spans from January 1996 to present, collaborating with various Opera companies, Symphonies, and Choral groups. Previously, Eric directed choral music for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools from July 2005 to November 2017, teaching Music Theory and History to students in grades 6-12. Additional experience includes managing operations and serving as a Dance Instructor at Lovin' Lindy from January 2007 to May 2013, as well as performing with the United States Army Chorus from July 1998 to January 2005 for prominent government officials. Eric holds a Post Baccalaureate degree in Music Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Wyoming.
