Kendra Smith is an experienced social work professional with a robust background in coordinating community health initiatives and supporting vulnerable populations. Currently serving as a Senior Project Coordinator at Charlotte Community Health Clinic, Kendra has previously held positions such as Child Welfare Specialist for Mecklenburg County and Social Worker II at Durham County DSS. Kendra’s expertise includes providing specialized services to high-risk pregnant patients, facilitating access to healthcare resources, and managing multi-disciplinary care planning. Started in 2000 by a group of committed volunteers, Charlotte Community Health Clinic offers high-quality medical, dental, and behavioral health services for kids and adults. We work towards a healthy community where all individuals, regardless of ability to pay, have access to comprehensive health care. We accept most major health insurance plans, as well as Medicaid and Medicare. For patients without health insurance, we offer a discount program based on income and family size.
