Scott Waybright

Scott joined Country Day in 1995 as a Middle School science teacher. Over the past 24+ years, he has been a department chair, baseball and basketball coach, director of studies and chaired numerous committees. As Assistant Head of School, Scott focuses his attention on the continued integration of the JK-12 curriculum and preparing students for new challenges and opportunities in their futures. With a passion for international experiences, Scott has traveled extensively, volunteers and serves on the board with ourBridge (an after school program for immigrant and refugee students). Scott also serves on the board of TESFA Ethiopia serving students in Ethiopia.
