Ray Desjardins

Ray Desjardins, CGCIO, has extensive experience in information technology management, currently serving as Senior Division Manager for the Charlotte County Board of County Commissioners since January 2005, overseeing the IT Division. Previous roles include IT Operations Manager and Computer Support Supervisor within the same organization, focusing on network operations, desktop support, and asset management. Prior experience includes Systems/Security Analyst at Manatee County Board of County Commissioners and Manager of Systems Services at Bridgewater State College, where Ray held multiple leadership positions. Earlier in the career, Ray worked as Lead Computer Operator at Massachusetts General Hospital. Ray holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology/Philosophy from St John's University.
