Amanda Deweese

Amanda DeWeese, APR, currently serves as Communications Director at Charlotte Douglas International Airport since January 2024. Prior to this role, Amanda held various positions at Chernoff Newman from January 2017 to January 2024, culminating as Vice President of Public Relations, where strategic communications counsel was provided to clients across diverse industries. Amanda's career also includes roles as Public Relations Director and Account Supervisor at Chernoff Newman, as well as Account Supervisor and Manager at Carolina PR. Additionally, Amanda contributed to the PRSA Charlotte Board of Directors and has experience in public relations and event coordination at Drayton Hall. Amanda holds a BA in Corporate Communications and Sociology from the College of Charleston.
