Katie Murphy

Katie Murphy currently serves as the Director of End User Technology and Project Manager for the Charlotte Hornets, a position held since July 2024. Prior to this role, Katie held various positions at Spurs Sports & Entertainment, including Information Technology Support Manager and Associate Manager IT Support, from December 2019 to August 2024. Katie also gained experience as an Information Technology Support Coordinator II and began a career in technology at American National Insurance Company as a Career Development Trainee in Desktop Support. Katie's earlier experience includes military service in Satellite Communications with the US Army from September 2009 to March 2016 and a work-study position with the Arizona Department of Veterans Services. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Management of Technology and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Cyber Security, both from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
