Garrett Langley Henson is currently a Coach, USL W League Color Commentator, and Field Operations and Rec Assistant Location Director at Charlotte Independence Soccer Club, responsible for competitive coaching, player development, parent education, and community programs. Henson co-founded The Habitual Line-Steppers Podcast, contributing to discussions on various topics. Henson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where graduation occurred in August 2020.

Charlotte Independence Soccer Club (CISC) has over 12,000 members – serving Youth and Adult Recreation, Competitive, Boys Elite Club’s National League (ECNL), Girls ECNL, and Boys U.S. Development Academy teams. CISC’s mission is to develop, promote and administer the game of soccer using key values of character, commitment, community, competition, and communication as the guiding principles to provide exceptional experience, while also developing and promoting life lessons and values. Launching initiatives such as Let Us Play and Keep Us Safe, CISC provides a safe environment for its membership.
