Rhem Stubbs possesses extensive experience in soccer coaching and player development. Currently serving as the Director of Coaching and USL W League Assistant Coach at Charlotte Independence Soccer Club, Rhem Stubbs specializes as an ECNL RL Staff Coach, overseeing training sessions and game day protocols in the Carolinas Division. Prior roles include Coaching Director for U11-U19 at North Meck and Sales Trainer at The CORE Training, Inc., providing professional coaching for Real Estate Agents and Mortgage Lenders. Rhem Stubbs also has experience as an Assistant Coach at Concord University and as a Volunteer Assistant Coach at Liberty University while earning a Master's degree in American History from Liberty University, building on a Bachelor's degree in History from Brevard College, where Rhem Stubbs was also a soccer player.
Charlotte Independence
New ownership acquired the USL franchise rights for Charlotte, NC in 2014 and began play on March 27, 2015 under a new team name: Charlotte Independence. Sights are set on moving Uptown to a revitalized American Legion Memorial Stadium in 2021. In the meantime, the team is proud to call the Sportsplex at Matthews home. Let's Ride!
