Dexter Snead

Dexter Snead is a seasoned project coordinator and managing owner with extensive experience in engineering and management, currently serving at THE CHARLOTTE PUBLIC TREE FUND INC and New Deal Community Development Corporation. With a background as a senior engineer at Duke Energy Corporation, Dexter has developed expertise in metrics, project management, and financial forecasting across various roles spanning over three decades in the energy sector. An Army and Air Force veteran, Dexter holds multiple degrees including an MBA from Pfeiffer University and a B.A. in Business Economics from Belmont Abbey College, as well as specialized training in electrical engineering and organizational leadership. Additionally, Dexter contributes as a technical tutor at Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, providing guidance in business and technology.
