Gigi Ordonez-Burns

Gigi Ordonez-Burns, MPA, is an experienced professional with a diverse background in public relations, transportation planning, and program management. Currently serving as a Diversion Case Specialist and Diversion Analyst at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department since October 2015, Gigi previously held a significant role in public relations at Market America, Inc., where responsibilities included strategic communication development and execution. Gigi also has a strong foundation in program management from the University of Southern California, overseeing financial aspects for the Center of Interactive Smart Oilfield Technology. Earlier career experiences include working as a Transportation Planner for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority and administrative roles at Knott's Berry Farm and Disneyland Resort. Gigi holds an MPA in Public Policy and Administration from California State University, Long Beach, and a BA in Political Science from UC Irvine.
