Shaun L. Ward

Shaun L. Ward, DM, currently serves as a Fellow at the Future Policing Institute, focusing on effective and just policing. As Parliamentarian for the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives, Shaun advises on parliamentary procedure and governance. Additionally, Shaun is a Peer Reviewer for the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Justice Programs, evaluating grant applications. As the Founder and CEO of SLW Group LLC, Shaun emphasizes organizational development through people-centric strategies. Experience with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department includes roles such as Professional Accountability Bureau investigator and training supervisor. Shaun also contributes as a Policing Fellow with the National Policing Institute and as a LEADS Scholar with the National Institute of Justice. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix and ongoing studies in Public Leadership at Harvard University.
