Alejandra Garcia

Alejandra Garcia is currently the Principal at EE Waddell High School within Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, a position held since July 2023. With a tenure at CMS that began in June 2005, previous roles have included Principal at Nations Ford Elementary from May 2014 to July 2023 and Coordinator for the BES(T) Districtwide Math initiative, as well as the EC coordinator for 21 schools in the West learning community in late 2013. Alejandra Garcia's educational background includes a National Leadership Endorsement in Turnaround Schools from Harvard University Graduate School of Education in 2014, completion of the New Leaders program in 2013, a Master’s degree in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University, and National Board Certification as a Birth-21 EC specialist. Alejandra Garcia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Exceptional Student Education from Florida Atlantic University.
